Eco Battery launched in 2018 and quickly became the leader in supplying lithium batteries for the golf cart industry.
Brand recognition combined with astronomical growth of the golf industry provided increased opportunities to expand product lines. Sourcing new high quality factories to supply demand became imperative.
Eco Battery needed a way to manage bill of materials for RFQs in real-time with each new factory. They looked for AI automations to scale procurement without increasing employee count. Requirements included:

Airbatch’s self-serve integration allowed Eco Battery to sync their Quickbooks and be live in minutes. Once live, they could source new factories and start messaging with the sales team at each factory in real-time.
Engineering and procurement teams at Eco Battery unlocked automated sourcing without adding employee count or workload. Platform based sourcing features included:
- Bulk uploading of BOMs allowed
- Comparative views of current and quoting BOMs
- Real-time messaging with factory sales teams
Eco Battery deployed platform embedded AI tools to source new factories, procure high quality products, compare quotes and automate quality control processes. The result was lower product cost and operational expenses.
